Everyone has been anxious or felt panicky at some point in their lives. After all it is a natural feeling and makes us more aware of the situation facing us.
It is when the individual begins to allow it to escalate that the problems arise and gradually find they can not remain calm and manage the feeling which only serves to increase the symptoms. The symptoms are unpleasant and range from sweaty hands to a feeling of floating/light-headedness.
Anxiety can become debilitating and affect many areas of the sufferers life whether it be work related, socialising, facing exams, driving test or interviews, etc. It is a conditional response or trigger to certain circumstances.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a form of anxiety. It can be upsetting long after the event happened and leaves the individual nervous, suffering from flashbacks or nightmares even years later.
The ‘people changing’ therapies we use will assist the client with relaxation techniques, reprogramme the unconscious mind to accept positive change and release blockages within the body which will help the client to lead a much calmer life.
