How safe are the treatments?

All the therapies are safe, painless, non-invasive and drug free and they work on a Holistic approach to the client.
Pregnant women and people that are fitted with a pacemaker are advised to check with their doctor before any treatment on the Bio-resonance system.

Is the therapist qualified?
Philip Elsley has been a complimentary therapist since 1987 and has trained and qualified in all the therapies and treatments available.

Do I need to have all the treatments?
No. Depending on the clients presenting problem only one therapy may be necessary but to achieve long lasting results it is advisable to deal with psychological emotions as well as the physical side.

Can I get the treatments on the N.H.S.?
The only therapy available on the N.H.S. is Hypnotherapy, but to be accepted for a programme may take some time and only after consultation with your doctor. The N.H.S. also provides Stop Smoking classes or Prescriptions but this means you replace cigarettes with nicotine patches or drugs.At New Wave Therapy we are able to help each client in an unhurried, personal manner using a Holistic approach..

How long are the sessions and how many will be needed?
It depends on the individual but Stop Smoking is generally for two visits lasting between 1-2 hours. Allergies or Intolerances can require approximately two or three visits lasting between 1-2 hours. Other problems need to be assessed at the consultation depending on the client’s individual requirements.

Can anything happen to me when I am in Hypnosis?
You will only receive beneficial change and you will not remain in Hypnosis, even if the Hypnotherapist was to become ill. Hypnosis is a natural state of mind and has been practised for centuries all over the world.

Will I reveal anything I do not want to?
During any of the therapies the client is always in control and you will not discuss or divulge any personal information you choose not to.

Are there any risks involved with being attached to the Bio-resonance system?
No. The Bio-resonance equipment is similar to systems used by the N.H.S. for monitoring and analysing the body. Our system helps to detox and balance the body after the initial scanning has taken place, so it is strongly advised that the client drinks plenty of water before and after treatments to flush through any detected poisons and toxins and to hydrate the body.

Is my information confidential?
Yes. It is kept secure as required by the data protection act. If it is necessary to contact anyone, namely your doctor, on your behalf New Wave Therapy will gain your permission.
